As of Saturday, April 25th carts are available again. However, only one person will be allowed on each cart with the exception of members of the same household. Golfers are also responsible for sanitizing their cart before their round. Bleach spray is available in the parking lot. We also ask that golfers return carts to the coned off area in the parking lot and take all trash with you. The clubhouse building (including the Pro-Shop) is still closed to the public until further notice. Restrooms will be open via the doors on the deck, all other doors will remain locked. We will only be accepting payments via credit or debit card and all payments MUST be done over the phone. Please call 314-741-7444 to pay for round either ahead of time or when you arrive for your tee time. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we try and keep all members of the community and our staff safe and healthy in this difficult time.
The Florissant Golf Club is committed to providing you a safe place to get some fresh air and exercise during the current COVID-19 situation. Golf is a great way to enjoy the outdoors while maintaining a safe distance from others as recommended by the CDC. As such we will be remaining open until further notice and implementing increased cleaning and sanitization procedures including:
– Hourly sanitization of all surfaces in the clubhouse
– Sanitizing golf carts between any and all uses
– Removal of all multi-use products from our Food and
– Training our staff on proper protocol, including
encouraging self-quarantine when necessary
– Increasing availability of cleaning supplies and adding
hand sanitizer stations to the counter and bar
– Encouraging social distancing, especially avoiding
physical contact such as handshakes
– All golfers must maintain a distance of 6ft between
themselves and others at all times.
– All golfers must either ride one person to a cart or choose to
walk the course. Due to this policy, there may be times where
carts are unavailable.
– The clubhouse is closed
-We will no longer be accepting cash and encourage everyone to pay over
phone or online.
We will also be implementing additional measures out on the course to further reduce risk to our patrons. Cups will be raised above the level of the hole. Putt until you hit the side of the cup and record that as going in. We will also be removing the rakes and having a dedicated staff member to keep the bunkers in shape.
We will be requiring golfers to use individual carts allows and encourage everyone to consider walking the course during this time.
We also encourage our golfers to take any necessary precautions to protect yourself and others. If you are feeling sick, please remain at home. Be cognizant of others you may encounter and cover sneezes properly using your elbow or shoulder, limit touching your face, and wash your hands often.
We appreciate everyone’s help with keeping our course and our community safe and healthy during this difficult time. We will be keeping all of you up to date with any relevant information on procedure changes as we are made aware of them.
