Florissant Tree Planting Event 2025: Grow Together at Koch Park

Residents Invited to Help Plant 40 Trees at Koch Park

FLORISSANT, MO – Residents are encouraged to take part in the Florissant tree planting event happening Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Koch Park starting at 10:00 AM. The initiative invites the community to “Let’s Grow Together in Florissant!” by planting 40 trees along the park’s walking path.

The event provides a hands-on way for neighbors to connect while making a lasting impact on the environment. All planting tools will be supplied by the city, along with complimentary water and snacks. Volunteers are simply asked to bring their energy—and, if they prefer, gloves.

This effort is made possible through a partnership with Forest Releaf, a nonprofit organization that donated all 40 trees for the day. Organizers describe the event as a fun, impactful way to beautify the park and contribute to the city’s green future.

Whether you’re an experienced gardener or simply looking for a meaningful weekend activity, this community gathering is a great way to give back and watch something grow—literally.
