Fredbird was first nominated in May 2025, marking the second time he appeared on the Mascot Hall of Fame ballot. While the final list of inductees was scheduled for announcement in June, the Cardinals’ social media confirmed his inclusion.
Before this national recognition, Fredbird had already been honored locally. In 2018, he was inducted into the St. Louis Sports Hall of Fame, solidifying his role as a beloved figure in the city’s sports culture.
Now a member of both the St. Louis Sports Hall of Fame and the Mascot Hall of Fame, Fredbird continues to represent the Cardinals with energy, tradition, and fan-favorite flair.
