Padraig Harrington captured his second U.S. Senior Open title at the 2025 championship held at The Broadmoor, edging out Stewart Cink by a single stroke after a closely contested final round.
Harrington posted a 3-under 67 on Sunday to finish the tournament at 11-under 269. Cink, playing alongside Harrington in the final pairing for the fourth straight day, carded a 68 to finish just behind at 10-under 270.
A decisive moment came on the 18th hole when Harrington hit a precise approach shot, applying pressure on Cink, who found himself in a less favorable lie. That closing sequence proved enough to seal the victory and reinforce Harrington’s place as one of the standout competitors on the PGA TOUR Champions.
This marks Harrington’s second U.S. Senior Open title, his first coming in 2022. The victory at The Broadmoor adds another chapter to his distinguished legacy in senior golf.
